Now, anybody who knows me knows that I’m a HUGE Rosario Dawson fan. HUGE. Like, I’d have her babies and drink her bathwater kind of fan. Don’t judge me.
Awesome news from her camp arrived today when it was announced that A&E is eyeing her comic, OCT: Occult Crimes Taskforce, for adaptation as a show…the same place that The Walking Dead is now kicking ass. The series was a decent read, and with Dawson – a self-proclaimed comic book geek and fan of the genre – on board, it should be pretty entertaining.

This is simply amazing. Some old school NES lovers took the time to take Abobo, the big ugly dude from Double Dragon, and make him the main character in a send up of all things old school NES. It’s chock full of 8-bit goodness and twisted hilarity. It’s free and downloadable and just plain AWESOME.
