Now, anybody who knows me knows that I’m a HUGE Rosario Dawson fan. HUGE. Like, I’d have her babies and drink her bathwater kind of fan. Don’t judge me.

Awesome news from her camp arrived today when it was announced that A&E is eyeing her comic, OCT: Occult Crimes Taskforce, for adaptation as a show…the same place that The Walking Dead is now kicking ass. The series was a decent read, and with Dawson – a self-proclaimed comic book geek and fan of the genre – on board, it should be pretty entertaining.

Ever wonder about the tales that would be told about the internet after the fall of civilization? Me either. But here they are anyway…

This is simply amazing. Some old school NES lovers took the time to take Abobo, the big ugly dude from Double Dragon, and make him the main character in a send up of all things old school NES. It’s chock full of 8-bit goodness and twisted hilarity. It’s free and downloadable and just plain AWESOME.
Want to see something really different? Nissan’s partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help Americans when they need it most. The way they’re doing it, however, is rather…interesting. Nissan’s “builders” for Habitat for Humanity are standing by, awaiting YOUR commands. That’s right, it’s an interactive video experience allowing you to command the builders to interact with their environment in both helpful and silly ways, all to score points. Check out some teasers:

This is similar to another promotion a few years back – Subservient Chicken – that was AWESOME. It’s entertaining, it’s for a good cause, and it’s a lot of fun. Check out the facebook app for more details.
