Directed by Todd Philips (The Hangover), as part of Honda CR-V’s “Leap List” campaign which encourages people to do things they’ve always wanted to do, “Matthew’s Day Off” is the ultimate nod to Matthew Broderick’s biggest role as Ferris Bueller. The actions, dialogue, music…all of it lovingly and knowingly recreates the magic of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” with the modern day spin. Awesome on so many levels…check it out below:
Basic Man-Code dictates that if you have the opportunity to help a guy get some action, it’s your responsibility to do so…as long as it’s not at your own expense, of course. Keeping this in mind, the folks at The Rundown, with help from Bonobos – the online men’s clothing brand – have put together an awesome contest where you can win $1000 shopping spree at Bonobos.com. What do you have to do? I’m glad you asked. Visit Rundown.com/bonobos_digital_wingman and help that poor lonely sap dress for some action. Add a winning pickup line and voila, if you’re in the top ten, you’ll win a $100 Bonobos gift card. If you’re the best, the $1000 shopping spree is yours! And even if you’re lousy with these sorts of things, just for trying you’ll get 20% at Bonobos just for effort. It’s a win-win situation! Go help that poor guy get lucky and get lucky yourself!
Seriously? Smell like the Hulk? So that’s…what? Pure anger and soiled clothing? (Kind of like Axe Body Spray, huh?) And Iron Man…so you’ll smell like a billionaire in a metal suit. While that might not sound so bad at first, one has to wonder about things like how long he’s been IN the suit, and if said suit has some way to remove bodily wastes…
Anyway, other scents include Captain America (F*** YEAHH!), and Thor, Loki and Nick Fury (but that’s Samuel L. Jackson’s version of Nick Fury, so I can imagine the tagline to be something like, “SMELL ME, M*****F*****!! DO I SMELL GOOD TO YOU??? DO I?!?”
